Bobby Flay is signing copies of his new cookbook “Bobby Flay: Chapter One” at Bookends in Ridgewood on Monday, Oct. 28 at 6 p.m.

“Bobby Flay: Chapter One” is a lookback on Flay’s career and features 100 recipes from the first leg of his career, according to a synopsis. The recipes are accompanied by photographs, and stories about working with restaurants and his early TV appearance.

Recipes include King Crab Gumbo with Crab Rice and Crispy Okra or his signature Shrimp and Roasted Garlic Tamale. Add Black Rice Paella with Shellfish and Scallion Relish to your Sunday dinner table, or tuck into Spanish-style Steak Frites with Cabrales Blue Cheese, Smoked Paprika Fries, and Rioja Red Wine Sauce, according to a synopsis.
