Police have provided an update and firefighters have shared photos of the crash involving a tanker truck and two passenger vehicles Wednesday, Oct. 2 in Bernardsville. Fire Breaks Out at Somerset County Restaurant: Firefighters
The Station Tavern in Bernardsville caught on fire on the early morning of Tuesday, Sept. 24, authorities said. At 2:10 a.m., firefighters in Bernardsville responded to the restaurant at 45 Mine Brook Rd. after receiving reports of smoke in the building and found an active fire, Bernardsville Fire Co. No. 1 & First Aid Squad said. Mutual aid responded to assist, firefighters said. Firefighters declared the fire under control after an hour and units operated on scene for two hours, firefighters said. There were no reported injuries, firefighters said.

A Florida man was accused of pulling a knife on a customer at an upscale Rumson restaurant during an argument over spilled wine, authorities said. David Gulley, 75, of Palm Beach Shores, was arrested on Thursday, Aug. 22, the Rumson Police Department said in a news release. The fight happened at Red Horse by David Burke, a restaurant on the corner of Ridge Road and Avenue of Two Rivers. 6 Charged In Luxury NJ Car Thefts: Prosecutor
Five men and one juvenile were recently arrested and charged with numerous residential and vehicle burglaries in Somerset County, authorities said. In October 2023, broke into a Bernards Township home through a rear sliding window and stole a 2023 Mercedes Benz, Somerset County Prosecutor John McDonald announced.
