Motorcyclist, 66, Dies In Head-On Crash Along Jersey Shore: Police A Somers Point man was killed when his motorcycle crashed into an oncoming SUV in Egg Harbor Township, authorities said. Alfred Mottola II, 66, died in the crash on Route 152 near the Somers Point border, the Egg Harbor Township Police Department said in a news release. Officers responded to the scene at around 8:13 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19. Investigators said Mottola was heading west on a 2023 Harley-Davidson motorcycle near Graef Boat Yard when he crossed the center line into the eastbound lane.
