Two Killed In Camden Shooting: Prosecutor

Two people were killed in a double homicide on Camden on Saturday, March 29, authorities said.

At 10:54 p.m., Camden County police responded to a ShotSpotter activation at the 600 block of Elm Street and found Francisco Benavides, a 21-year-old Pennsauken resident, with gunshot wounds, Camden County Prosecutor Grace MacAulay and Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez said.

Benavides was transported to Cooper University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead soon after, authorities said.

Luis Delgado, a 22-year-old Camden resident, was dropped off at the same hospital with gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead soon after, authorities said.
