Man Guilty Of Punching Woman Outside House Fire: Camden County Prosecutor
A 46-year-old Camden man was convicted on Thursday, March 19, of punching a woman outside a house fire in 2022, authorities said.
On Monday, June 20, 2022, Camden County police and the Camden Fire Department responded to a house fire on the 800 block of Elm Street, Camden County Prosecutor Grace MacAulay and Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodrigue said.
Upon arrival, officers saw White punch a 57-year-old Camden woman in the mouth with a closed fist, authorities said. The woman sustained a fractured jaw, authorities said.

Retired Camden Hospital Worker, 76, Killed In Crash: Police
A Camden woman was killed when she was hit by a vehicle in Woodlynne, authorities said.
Paulette Lee, 76, died on Thursday, Sept. 26, a Camden County Police Department spokesperson said. Officers responded to the crash involving a pedestrian at the intersection of Ferry and Parker avenues at around 7:35 p.m.
Paramedics rushed Lee to Cooper University Hospital where she was pronounced dead. The driver stayed at the crash scene and no charges have been filed as of Wednesday, Oct. 2.

Burlington Man Convicted In Fatal Camden Shooting
A jury has convicted a Burlington man for the 2021 fatal shooting of a man in Camden, authorities said.
Lesure Funari, 25, of Burlington City, was found guilty on Thursday, June 6, of first-degree murder in the death of 29-year-old Takwail Bailey of Camden.
Funari was also found guilty of second-degree weapons offenses.
