Atlantic City Robbery Fugitive Arrested On NJ Transit Train, Police Say
A Galloway Township man wanted in an Atlantic City robbery was taken into custody on a New Jersey Transit train, authorities said. Manuel Alicea, 30, was arrested on Monday, Aug. 26, the Atlantic City Police Department said in a news release. He was captured on the train at the Egg Harbor City station. Police said Alicea was a fugitive wanted for pistol-whipping a man on the 1100 block of Arctic Avenue on Wednesday, Aug. 14. Atlantic City Convenience Store Clerk Sold Drugs, Loose Cigarettes: Police
Three people were facing charges after an Atlantic City convenience store clerk was caught selling drugs, authorities said. In a news release on Monday, Aug. 26, the Atlantic City Police Department said 35-year-old Cecil Monroe of Atlantic City, 58-year-old Tariq Mehmood of Egg Harbor Township, and 39-year-old Yasmin Faheem of Atlantic City were charged in the case. Atlantic City Man Admits To 2018 Killing While Stealing SUV, Prosecutors Say
An Atlantic City man admitted to killing a Ventnor City man while trying to steal his SUV almost six years ago, authorities said. Angelo Delgado, 22, pleaded guilty on Thursday, Aug. 22 to first-degree felony murder, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said in a news release. A former mixed martial artist from Philadelphia will spend more than two decades in prison after admitting to killing a man at an Atlantic City casino, authorities said. Rashaun Williams-Brooks, 39, was arrested on Tuesday, Aug. 13, the Atlantic City Police Department said in a news release.
