Teen On Bicycle Suffers Serious Injuries In South Jersey Crash, Troopers Say A teen riding a bicycle was seriously injured when they were hit by a car in Pittsgrove, authorities said. The 14-year-old was struck on County Route 553 on Tuesday, Aug. 27, a state police spokesperson said. Troopers responded to the crash near milepost 27.7 at around 11:35 a.m. Investigators said the teen left a parking lot and didn't yield to traffic. The Audi was traveling north and crashed into the bicycle. The teen was brought to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. No one in the Audi was injured. The crash remained under investigation.

Crash With Injuries Closes Garden State Parkway Exit In South Jersey, Police Say (Developing) An exit on the Garden State Parkway in Atlantic County was closed due to a crash near the interchange, authorities said. Egg Harbor Township police responded to the crash at the traffic lights for the intersection of Fire Road and the parkway exit ramps on Tuesday, July 16, the department said in a Facebook post. The state Department of Transportation reported the crash near the northbound exit ramp at 11:56 a.m. EXIT 36 from/to the GSP is closed at this time due to a motor vehicle crash with injuries at the traffic signal on Fire Road.
