A Georgia man was arrested after entering a Bergen County high school to confront a teacher whose sister was his former boss, officials said. Jose Luis Lucas-Domingo, 24, of Rome, GA, entered Northern Highlands Regional High School in Allendale at 7:45 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 4, Allendale Police Chief Michael Dillon said. Bus Evacuated After Man Brandished Knife: Township Of Hamilton PD
A 42-year-old Egg Harbor Township man was arrested and charged after he brandished a knife on a New Jersey Transit bus on Wednesday, April 9, authorities said. Herbert Myers originally made a phone call to officers making threats against schools located in Mays Landing, Township of Hamilton police said. The mayor of one New Jersey town is facing weapons offenses for an incident that happened in a high school parking lot, police said. Linwood police released a statement saying only that Erland V. Chau, 72, was charged with harassment, disorderly conduct, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose stemming from an incident in the Mainland Regional High School on Oct. 1. An Egg Harbor Township woman was accused of giving false identification when she arrived at a school to be a substitute teacher, authorities said. Katherine MacPherson, 35, was arrested on Monday, Sept. 9, the Egg Harbor Township Police Department said in a news release. Three juveniles from Gloucester County were in custody on Monday, Sept. 9 in connection with social media threats made against "numerous" South Jersey schools, authorities said.
