Four people were arrested after an elderly woman was "brutally attacked" and had her purse stolen at a Somers Point supermarket, authorities said. A 15-year-old Egg Harbor Township boy was charged with robbery, aggravated assault, and theft, the Somers Point Police Department said in a news release on Thursday, Oct. 10. Man Pulled Knife On Business Owner In Downtown Absecon, Police Say
A man was wanted for an armed robbery in downtown Absecon's business district, authorities said. Officers responded to the robbery on New Jersey Avenue just after 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 23, the Absecon Police Department said in a news release. A 911 caller reported that a man pulled out a knife and demanded money from a business owner. The owner got out of the business uninjured and the suspect ran away from the scene.
