Man Pulled Knife On Business Owner In Downtown Absecon, Police Say A man was wanted for an armed robbery in downtown Absecon's business district, authorities said. Officers responded to the robbery on New Jersey Avenue just after 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 23, the Absecon Police Department said in a news release.  A 911 caller reported that a man pulled out a knife and demanded money from a business owner. The owner got out of the business uninjured and the suspect ran away from the scene. Noah Brantley of Trenton was arrested on Thursday, July 18 on the 400 block of Lamberton Street, Trenton police said. Masked Robbers Hit Verizon Store In South Jersey: Police A Verizon store in Evesham was hit by a pair of armed robbers, authorities said. On Wednesday, May 15, at approximately 6:30 p.m., Evesham police responded to 930 W. Route 70 for an armed robbery that had just occurred.  One suspect brandished a firearm, police said. The store employee was not injured.
