First Responders Rescue Watercraft From Delaware River:

First responders rescued a watercraft from the Delaware River in Burlington County on Sunday evening, June 30, authorities said. At about 5 p.m., New Jersey State Police troopers responded to a report of a personal watercraft stuck on a sandbar near Hawk Island in Delanco Township, according to Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron, a NJSP spokesman. The craft was dislodged from the sandbar and escorted to a marina, Lebron said. No injuries were reported. The incident remains under investigation, and no additional information is available, he said.

A tow truck operator was hospitalized after being struck on Interstate 295 in South Jersey by another tow truck while assisting a motorist, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25 on I-295 southbound north of Exit 36 (Route 73) in Mount Laurel Township, according to the NJDOT. Troopers responded to the crash on Saturday, June 15 at about 10:30 p.m. on the Atlantic City Expressway west in Winslow Township, New Jersey State Police said. A 14-year-old boy is in critical condition after being struck on his bicycle in South Jersey on Friday, June 14, authorities said.
