A Glassboro man admitted to having a gun when he was found naked at a downtown Atlantic City apartment building, authorities said. Forrest Graves, 36, pleaded guilty on Friday, Oct. 25 to second-degree unlawful possession of a handgun, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said in a news release. Six Walgreens stores in South Jersey were among 20 nationwide to get fake bomb threats on Thursday, June 28, authorities said. One was in Evesham at 11:35 a.m. when a caller contacted the store on Route 73 reporting an explosive device was inside, Evesham Township police said in a press statement. There was an "active police investigation" Thursday morning, June 27 in Glassboro, authorities said. Their investigation was in the area of Route 322 West and Delsea Drive. Residents were asked to avoid the area at about 9 a.m. until the alert was lifted shortly before noon. "The area is now clear and open to travel, there is no active threat to the public. However, the incident is still under investigation and information will be forthcoming," police said in a Facebook update. Glassboro police were not immediately available for more details.
