A New Jersey man who had been employed as a mascot for amusement parks and sports teams including Sesame Place is arrested on accusations he convinced a preteen girl to send him child pornography, authorities said. Don-Diego Parkman, 19, was arrested in mid-September, Acting Mercer County Prosecutor Theresa Hilton said in a news release on Tuesday, Sept. 17. A Wall Township doctor agreed to give up his license after he was indicted and accused of sexually abusing a child for more than a decade, authorities said. Cornelius Gallagher voluntarily released his medical license through a temporary court order on Monday, Sept. 9, Attorney General Matthew Platkin said in a news release on Thursday, Sept. 12. Former Trenton Teacher, Basketball Coach Sexually Assaulted Student Over Five Years: Prosecutor
A former Trenton elementary school teacher and middle school coach was accused of sexually assaulting a student for about five years, authorities said. Darrell Moody, 51, of Plainfield, was arrested on Monday, Aug. 12, Acting Mercer County Prosecutor Theresa Hilton said in a news release. Former Ocean City Lifeguard Sentenced After Sexual Misconduct Investigation
A former Ocean City lifeguard and Atlantic County teacher avoided jail time after he was accused of sexual misconduct, authorities said. Jonathan Howell, 42, of Marmora, was sentenced on Tuesday, June 18 to four years probation, Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey Sutherland said in a news release.
