Major Storm Packed With Snow, Ice To Target Northeast After Slamming South A new major snow and ice storm is expected to take aim at the Northeast after first targeting the southern United States. The current projected time frame for the storm is Friday night, Jan. 10, into Saturday evening, Jan. 11, according to the National Weather Service.
