99-Year-Old Driver Killed In Route 37 Crash: Lakehurst PD A 99-year-old Manchester man was killed in a two-car crash on Route 37 on Tuesday, Feb. 4, authorities said. At 10:44 a.m., officers responded to a crash on Route 37 and Brown Avenue in Lakehurst, police said.  A 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis, operated by Harry Paulson, was exiting the Sunoco gas station at 200 Route 37 when failed to yield to oncoming traffic and collided with a 2019 Ford F-150 pickup driven by a 78-year-old South Toms River man, police said. Woman, 78, Struck By Pickup, Killed In South Jersey Crash: Police An Egg Harbor Township woman was killed while crossing a road on Veterans Day, authorities said. Sharon Parker, 78, died in the crash on Monday, Nov. 11, the Egg Harbor Township Police Department said in a news release. Officers responded to Tilton Road near the intersection with Goldenrod Lane at around 5:59 p.m.  Investigators said a 2015 Ford F-150 was traveling north on Tilton Road. The pickup struck Parker while she was walking across the road. Parker was pronounced dead at the scene. The 55-year-old Hammonton man who drove the Ford wasn't injured. Traffic was detoured away…

NJ Teen Who Killed Wawa Employee With Truck During Dispute Sentenced, Prosecutors Say An Old Bridge teen will spend up to a decade in prison for killing a gas station worker in a pickup, authorities said. Bryce Lomas from the township's Parlin section was sentenced on Thursday, Oct. 17 to 10 years in state prison, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone said in a news release. John and Patrick Mahoney, both of Washington Township, died in a collision on Tuesday, June 4 at Union and Mays Landing Roads, as previously reported by Daily Voice.  Police said John was driving a Toyota Yaris when he failed to yield to a Ford F-250 operated by an 81-year-old, which caused the crash.
