Driver Dies After Crashing Into Home, Setting It Ablaze: Manalapan PD
A 57-year-old Englishtown man was killed after the vehicle he was driving crashed into a home, starting a fire on the morning of Tuesday, April 1 in Manalapan, authorities said.
At 5:02 a.m., the car struck a home on Craig Road near Symmes Drive, and the residence proceeded to catch on fire, Manalapan police said.
The man was removed by passing motorists, and was transported to Centra State Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead, police said. A person inside the house was safely removed, police said, and firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze.

A vehicle crashed into a home, causing it to be set ablaze on the morning of Tuesday, April 1 in Manalapan, authorities said.
At 5:02 a.m., a car crashed into a home on Craig Road near Symmes Drive, and the home then caught on fire, Manalapan police said.
The driver of the vehicle was removed by passing motorists, and was transported to an area hospital, police said. A person inside the house was safely removed, police said, and firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze, police said.
The incident remains under investigation, police said.
