Woman Found Dead In Retention Basin: Neptune PD A woman was found dead, lying in the snow in Neptune on the afternoon of Monday, Jan. 20, authorities said. Officers responded to 230 Jumping Brook Rd. at 1:07 p.m. and found a dead woman, wearing only a shirt and shorts, lying in the snow in a retention basin, Neptune Township police said..  The woman's name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin, police said. The investigation is ongoing and there is no known threat to the public, police said.
