A pursuit involving a stolen Mercedes-Benz GLE ended in multiple arrests after five suspects attempted to flee police in Paramus early Sunday, Feb, 16, police said. Sgt. Sean Nutland first spotted the stolen 2017 white Mercedes-Benz traveling north on Route 17 near Ridgewood Avenue around 2:50 a.m., according to Paramus Police Chief Robert Guidetti. Three people are at large after they forcibly entered a Wall Township home and fled from police on Monday, Jan. 20, authorities said. At 4:44 a.m., officers responded to a burglary at a residence on Baileys Corner Road after a caller reported three masked individuals forcibly entered the home and subsequently fled the scene in a dark-colored vehicle, Wall Township police said. A spare tire sent flying on the Garden State Parkway left a 21-year-old motorist seriously injured on Friday, Oct. 18, police said. The Flemington woman was operating a Volkswagen passenger vehicle in the southbound lanes when a spare wheel became dislodged from another vehicle in the northbound lanes around 3:25 p.m. in South Toms River, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Opening Date Set For New Shake Shack Restaurant In Central Jersey
An opening date has been set for the new Shake Shack restaurant in Middletown. A spokesperson said the Shake Shack at 1149 Route 35 will officially open on Wednesday, Sept. 4 at 11 a.m. The restaurant is replacing Moe's Southwest Grill at the location. The "first wave" of customers will get custom Shake Shack tote bags and stickers.
