The sides needed to finalize a deal by Thursday, Feb. 13, at 11 p.m. EST to avoid channels from being lost. Matthew Kresch sent the text messages to the girl as part of an attempt to lure her into having sex, Hawthorne police said. He was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and one count of luring.
