New Study Highlights Growing Trend Of ‘No Contact’ In US A growing number of Americans are quietly reshaping their relationships, changing how they connect with others. More Americans are choosing to cut off contact with friends and family rather than work through conflict, according to a Talker Research survey conducted for Talkspace that highlights shifting social habits and rising isolation. The study of 2,000 Americans found that 38 percent have gone “no contact” with a loved one in the past year.
