An employee at a popular ice cream shop in North Jersey was charged with theft following a months-long investigation, police announced Thursday, April 2.
Officers responded to a report on Friday, March 13, involving suspected theft at Sparta Dairy, Sparta Police Capt. Tom Snyder said.
The reporting parties provided documentation and video surveillance showing “potential irregularities involving financial transactions over an extended period of time,” Snyder said.
