An Arizona woman and a Tinton Falls man were indicted in the killing of an Irvington man whose body was found in Atlantic County, more than 100 miles from his home, authorities said. A grand jury indicted 37-year-old Franchesa Burgos-Gonzalez of Phoenix and 28-year-old Dyshawn Bostick on Wednesday, Dec. 11, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said in a news release. Authorities have identified the bicyclist who died when an SUV struck him in West Long Branch. John Martin of Long Branch was killed in the crash, a Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office spokesperson said on Tuesday, Dec. 3. He was 55 years old. West Long Branch police responded to the scene near the intersection of Route 36 and Monmouth Road just after 9 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 30. A Long Branch man died after being struck by a vehicle while riding his bicycle in West Long Branch, authorities said. The 55-year-old man was killed in the crash on Saturday, Nov. 30, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago said in a news release. A Bayville man was accused of driving while high on drugs when he caused several crashes on the Garden State Parkway before assaulting a construction worker, authorities said. Jonathan Ferro, 21, was arrested on Wednesday, Aug. 28, a state police spokesperson said. Troopers responded to multiple hit-and-run crashes near milepost 101.3 on the northbound side of the parkway in Tinton Falls at around 2:18 p.m. Investigators said Ferro was driving a Dodge pickup in the crashes and ran away from the truck when it became disabled. Motorcyclist Dies In Crash At Garden State Parkway Exit In Central Jersey
A Camden County man was killed when his motorcycle crashed on the Garden State Parkway, authorities said. Jason Ball, 46, of Stratford, died in the crash in Tinton Falls on Saturday, July 20, according to a state police spokesperson. Troopers responded to the scene near milepost 103 on the southbound side of the parkway at around 9:37 p.m. Investigators said Ball was taking exit 102 when he lost control of his Harley-Davidson. He went off the left side of the road and was ejected from the motorcycle. The crash remains under investigation.
