Man Killed, Wife Seriously Injured When Tow Truck Hits Motorcycle In South Jersey: Police
A Plumsted Township man was killed and his wife was seriously injured when a tow truck hit their motorcycle, authorities said. Jackson Township police responded to the crash on Hawkin Road at around 3:16 p.m. on Thursday, June 27, Chief Matthew Kunz said in an email. Erin Doyle, 53, of New Egypt, was pronounced dead at the scene. His 47-year-old wife was airlifted to a trauma center with a serious leg injury. Former Bookkeeper Admits To Stealing $357K From NJ Apartment Association: Prosecutors
A former bookkeeper admitted to stealing more than $350,000 from an advocacy group for New Jersey apartment building owners, authorities said. Karly Simon-Sapp, 50, of Plumsted Township, pleaded guilty to theft on Monday, May 13, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said in a news release on Thursday, May 23.
