Two Injured In Route 521 Crash:

Two people were injured in a two-car crash on Route 521 South in Sussex County on Friday, Oct. 25, authorities said. At 7:53 a.m., two passenger vehicles collided in a head-on crash on County Road 521 South in Montague Township, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. A third vehicle struck debris from the prior collision, Lebron said. The two drivers involved in the head-on collision sustained non-life-threatening injuries, Lebron said. The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.

Driver Flees From Crash That Killed Passenger On Route 9: Prosecutor
A 47-year-old North Plainfield man was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Woodbridge on Saturday, Oct. 25 in which the driver had fled from, authorities said. Mario Ortiz Bonilla was found dead in the front passenger's seat of the 2017 Kia Sportage on Route 9 and Green Street in Woodbridge just after 9:05 a.m., Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Woodbridge PD Director Robert Hubner said. Cops ID Victim Killed In Head-On Route 23 Crash With Ford F150
Authorities have released the identity of the person killed in a crash on Route 23 earlier this week. Hamid Shabuddin, 55, of Paterson was a passenger in a 2005 Toyota Camry that collided head-on with a 2021 Ford F-150 at 11 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 15 in the northbound lanes in Riverdale, a spokesperson for the prosecutor's office said. Vehicle Overturns In Woods Off Route 80:

A driver was hospitalized after his vehicle overturned on Route 80 in Morris County on the evening of Thursday, Oct. 10, authorities said. The driver of a Nissan Rogue lost control of his vehicle while driving on Route 80 East in Mount Olive Township, Charles Marchan, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. The car veered off the right side of the roadway and overturned into the woods, Marchan said. The driver was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Marchan said.
