Man Threatened Bus Driver With Hammer: Hoboken Police A 43-year-old Hoboken man was arrested and charged with threatening a bus driver with a hammer on Wednesday, March 12, authorities said. That afternoon, Matthew Seriale was double parked on Clinton Street between First and Second Streets, a spokesperson for the Hoboken police said. When an NJ Transit bus tried to pass his vehicle, Serial grabbed a hammer from his car, walked toward the front door of the bus and waved the hammer at the bus driver while threatening to strike him in the head, police said.
