A BMW driver is facing multiple charges after crashing and injuring a family of four on Route 3 on Thursday, Oct. 3, authorities said. Hamza M. Abdelaziz, 20, of Clifton, was racing in a 2023 black BMW 540 when he struck the Fair Lawn family's vehicle on the Berry’s Creek Bridge in the eastbound lanes in Rutherford, just prior to the East Rutherford border around 1:10 p.m., Rutherford Police Chief John Russo said. Three People Hospitalized In Three-Car Elizabeth Crash: Authorities
Three people were hospitalized after a car crash in Elizabeth on the early morning of Tuesday, Sept. 24, authorities said. The crash between three vehicles occurred around 6 a.m. at Lafayette Street and Spring Street, Ruby Contreras, a spokeswoman for the City of Elizabeth said. Dropped Load In Crash Causes Closures In Bayonne: OEM
A car crash with a dropped load caused significant traffic delays in Bayonne on the morning of Monday, Aug. 5. The crash occurred on Route 440 South near the 63rd Street exit, the Bayonne Office of Emergency Management said. The crash caused heavy damage to the roadway, with debris strewn throughout.
