North Plainfield Man Killed In Motorcycle Crash: Berkeley Heights Police A 55-year-old North Plainfield resident was killed in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash in Berkeley Heights on Wednesday, Nov. 13, authorities said. The crash occurred at Plainfield Avenue near Connell Corporate Park, Berkeley Heights police said. The man, whose identity is being withheld by police, was taken to Overlook Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said. The crash remains under investigation, police said.

Woman Solicited Undercover Cop At Massage Parlor: Berkeley Heights PD A 64-year-old Berkeley Heights woman was arrested and charged with prostitution at a massage parlor on Wednesday, Nov. 13, authorities said. Changling Wang solicited an undercover officer during a massage appointment at Qitopia Massage Spa on Springfield Avenue where she lived and worked, Berkeley Heights police said, following a monthlong investigation into illicit activities at the spa with the assistance of the Union County Prosecutor's Office Intelligence and Narcotics Division. Wang was charged with prostitution and released pending a court date, police said.

At 6:06 p.m., a Lexus SUV, Honda passenger vehicle, BMW motorcycle and Suzuki motorcycle were traveling eastbound on Route 78 in Berkeley Heights when the BMW struck the back of the Honda, causing the Suzuki to strike the back of the BMW, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said.
