Rapper Found With High-Capacity Magazine After Pointing Gun At Victims In Bayonne: Cops
A Bayonne rapper with a large following on social media was arrested on Friday, July 12 and charged with pointing a gun at two people earlier this month, authorities said. On Thursday, July 4, Richard Sharp a.k.a. Famouss Richard, pointed a handgun at two people during an argument in the parking lot at QuickChek on 22nd Street, Bayonne police said in a release. Three Teens Arrested After Stolen Vehicle Pursuit In Secaucus: Police
Three teenagers were arrested on this week after stealing a vehicle and leading police on a pursuit last month in Secaucus, authorities said. On Sunday, June 16, at 4:57 a.m., police spotted a teen breaking into an Audi Q5 and Jeep Wrangler, parked at a residence on the 600 block of 4th Street, Secaucus Police Chief Dennis Miller said. The teen ran toward an awaiting Kia Sportage, filled with occupants wearing ski masks, and flee the area, Miller said. Sex Offender Gropes Victim On Bayonne Streets, Busted For Violating Megan's Law: Cops
A 22-year-old sex offender was found to have violated Megan's Law statutes after police caught him groping a woman on a Bayonne street, authorities said. Tariq Baker, of Bayonne, approached the female victim around 3:05 p.m. Monday, July 8 and grabbed her buttocks on East 50th Street, Bayonne Police Detective Sgt. William Dundas said. Firefighters were on scene of a structure fire in Bayonne on the morning of Tuesday morning, July 9, the Bayonne Office of Emergency Management said. The fire is at West 44th Street and Avenue B, the Bayonne OEM said. Video provided by the OEM shows smoke billowing from the window. People are asked to avoid the area, the OEM said.
