Retired Rockaway Rec Employee Timothy Angle, 64, Dies In Lafayette Motorcycle Crash
Timothy Angle, a 64-year-old Rockaway resident died from his injuries following a motorcycle crash in Thursday, July 4 in Lafayette Township, authorities said.
Angle was riding his Victory motorcycle was traveling eastbound on Monroe Road when he veered off the roadway, overturned, crashed into a tree and was ejected from the vehicle, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said.
Angle was transported to a nearby hospital and died on Tuesday, July 9, Lebron said.

Burglar Arrested After Foot Pursuit In North Jersey Town, Police Say
A 29-year-old Rockaway resident was arrested for burglary following a foot pursuit in Fairfield on Tuesday, July 2, authorities said.
At 9:35 p.m., officers responded to a vehicle burglary at a business on Daniel Road East, Fairfield police said in a release. Police noticed Matthew Logan, who matched the description of the suspect, in the parking lot of the PNC Bank on Little Falls Road, officers said.
Logan ran from police, disobeying orders to stop, before being apprehended, officers said. Upon apprehension, Logan was found to be in possession of a window punch, police said.
