A tractor-trailer crash involving 10 vehicles left six people injured on the New Jersey Turnpike in South Jersey on Friday, Dec. 12, state police said. A Peterbilt tractor-trailer was traveling south when the driver changed lanes into the left shoulder to avoid a collision with traffic just before 4 p.m., in the southbound lanes at milepost 35.5 in Mount Laurel, NJSP Tpr. Man Airlifted After Crash Near Atlantic City Airport: Police
A person had to be airlifted following a car crash near the Atlantic City Airport on Thursday morning, Sept. 4, authorities said. At 11:56 a.m., officers responded to Tilton Road near the airport after a 2008 Mercedes C3000 driven by a 20-year-old Atlantic City woman was traveling eastbound when it crossed the center line into oncoming traffic, Township of Hamilton police said. An 80-year-old Barnegat woman was killed in a crash on the Atlantic Expressway on Thursday, April 10, authorities said. At 11:50 a.m., a Hyundai Kona and Genesis GV80 were traveling eastbound on the expressway in Pleasantville, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. The Hyundai came to a stop in the left lane of travel and was struck in the rear by the Genesis, Lebron said. Teen On Bicycle Suffers Serious Injuries In South Jersey Crash, Troopers Say
A teen riding a bicycle was seriously injured when they were hit by a car in Pittsgrove, authorities said. The 14-year-old was struck on County Route 553 on Tuesday, Aug. 27, a state police spokesperson said. Troopers responded to the crash near milepost 27.7 at around 11:35 a.m. Investigators said the teen left a parking lot and didn't yield to traffic. The Audi was traveling north and crashed into the bicycle. The teen was brought to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. No one in the Audi was injured. The crash remained under investigation.
