A six-year-old Central New York boy was visiting his family in Ewing when he died in a massive apartment fire that injured 17 people and left at least 16 without homes, authorities said. Jayden Gotell-Watkins of Baldwinsville, NY, was identified as the victim killed in the Cambridge Hall fire, the Ewing Police Department said in a news release. Seventeen other victims were hospitalized in the blaze on Thursday, Jan. 2. A young boy was killed and 17 people were sent to hospitals when an apartment building caught fire in Ewing, authorities said. The six-year-old boy died in the blaze at the Cambridge Hall apartments on Lower Ferry Road on Thursday, Jan. 2, the Ewing Police Department said in a news release. A Delanco Township woman was sedated in a hospital after she was rescued from a roof on her burning home, officials said. Firefighters responded to the home on the 300 block of Burlington Avenue at around 4:50 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 14, the Delanco Fire Company said in a Facebook post.
