Toms River Woman Sentenced In Roommate's Shower Rod, Tape Dispenser Killing: Prosecutors
A Toms River woman will spend at least eight years in prison after admitting to her role in the death of her roommate, a former Manchester High School janitor, authorities said. Mary Carbone, 60, was sentenced on Friday, Sept. 13 to ten years in state prison, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said in a news release. She must serve eight-and-a-half years before she's eligible for parole under the No Early Release Act. Carbone pleaded guilty on Monday, July 8 to aggravated manslaughter. South Jersey Woman Found Dead In Atlantic City: Police
A Galloway Township woman was found dead in Atlantic City, authorities said. In a news release, Atlantic City police said officers responded to a report of the woman's body near the intersection of Hummock and Trinity avenues at around 10:11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12. Police and firefighters confirmed the 34-year-old woman was dead. Investigators were looking into what led up to her death. Woman Found Dead In Atlantic City Apartment, Prosecutors Say
A woman was found dead in an Atlantic City apartment, authorities said. Atlantic City police discovered 29-year-old Janessa Morgan's body inside a second-floor apartment at 3 South Raleigh Avenue at around 10:09 a.m. on Wednesday, June 5, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said in a news release on Thursday, June 13.
