Two Teenagers Arrested For Stealing Car From Pennsylvania: Fairfield PD
Two teenagers were arrested and charged with stealing a car in Fairfield on Sunday, Nov. 3, authorities said. At 9:31 a.m., Fairfield police said they were alerted to a stolen vehicle in the township, a 2016 gray Hyundai Elantra with Pennsylvania registration, that had been stolen Friday, Nov. 1 out of Northampton County in Pennsylvania. The vehicle was located traveling west on Route 46 and was stopped on Fairfield Road, police said. Driver Injured After Vehicle Overturns: Fairfield PD
A driver was injured after the vehicle he was driving overturned on the afternoon of Sunday, Nov. 3 in Fairfield, authorities said. At 12:13 p.m., officers responded to a single car motor vehicle crash on Hollywood Avenue near Francaville Drive, Fairfield police said. The driver ran off the roadway and struck a roadway before the vehicle overturned, police said. The crash is currently under investigation, police said. The extent of the driver's injuries is unknown.

A knife-wielding man in the stairwell of an apartment complex in Camden County was shot and killed by a police officer, authorities said. members of the Haddon Township Police Department responded to a 9-1-1 call regarding an attempted burglary in progress at an apartment complex located on West Crystal Lake Avenue in Westmont around 1:05 a.m., New Jersey Attorney General Matthew Platkin said. A 31-year-old man was arrested after police say he was cursing at children and then attacked a nanny in a Hoboken park on Thursday, Oct. 31, Halloween, according to police and the nanny's family. Officers were called to Church Square Park around 12:30 p.m. where a man later identified Troy Timberlake had been cursing at children and elderly people, Hoboken City spokeswoman Marci Rubin. Support is on the rise for an 18-year-old North Jersey high school soccer captain who sustained multiple broken bones in a crash last month. Molly Mack, the captain of the Whippany High School girls team, was identified by the team's booster club as the person seriously injured in the Sunday, Oct. 27 crash between two SUVs on Route 24 in Florham Park, as previously reported by Daily Voice. Driver, 19, Killed In Route 80 Crash
A 19-year-old driver was killed in an early-morning Route 80 crash when he rear-ended a box truck stopped in the shoulder, authorities said. Cameron Ray, of Flanders, was heading west in a Subrau when he rear-ended the truck near milepost 38.2 in Denville around 5:40 a.m., New Jersey State Police Sgt. Charles Marchan said. Ray died as a result of the crash while the box truck driver suffered minor injuries. The crash remains under investigation, and no additional information is available.

Officials ID Driver Killed By NJ Transit Train In Morris County
NJ Transit officials have released the name of the motorist killed by a train earlier this week in Morris County. Michael Carbone, 77, of Pompton Plains, was struck by Montclair-Boonton Line train 1074 after he disregarded the crossing gates at the Ryerson Road crossing in Lincoln Park around 9:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 28, a spokesperson for NJ Transit said. AG IDs Man Killed After Police Respond To Bayonne Apartment
A 44-year-old Bayonne man was identified on Friday, Nov. 1 as the victim following a police encounter, the state Attorney General's Office said. At 12:18 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 16, police responded to an apartment on Broadway after a 911 caller reported hearing a lot of screaming from the apartment, the Attorney General's office said. Responding officers approached the apartment described by the caller and heard yelling coming from inside, authorities said. A former Columbia University vice president has been convicted of sexually assaulting a child under the age of 13 years old at his Bergen County home, authorities announced. A 72-year-old woman has been charged with calling in a bomb threat to Holy Name Medical in August, authorities said.
