Drunk Driver Hits Cyclist Along Route 22: Police A 60-year-old Lebanon man was arrested and charged with assault by automobile after he struck a cyclist while driving drunk in Readington on Monday, Feb. 11, authorities said. Officers responded to Route 22 near Green Gate Road and found a struck cyclist, a 55-year-old Milford resident, who was disoriented and sustained significant injuries, Readington police said. During a traffic stop on Route 31, officers discovered Yasir Fahmy, a 29-year-old Clinton resident and Kaitlyn Verhoest, a 21-year-old Lebanon resident were found to be in possession of heroin, suboxone, crack cocaine, bottles of synthetic urine and a knife, Clinton Township police said. Newark Flight Attendant From PA Dies After Spinout Crash With Tractor Trailer On Route 78 Jennifer Friedel-Hoffman, a 60-year-old Pennsylvania resident, was killed in a crash on Route 78 in New Jersey on Wednesday, May 29. A tractor-trailer was parked and unoccupied on the right shoulder on Route 78 West in Lebanon when a Subaru driven by Friedel-Hoffman entered the area and struck the left rear of the truck just after 9 a.m., New Jersey State Police said.  The crash caused the Subaru to spin out and hit a Volkswagen passenger car traveling in the right lane, police said.
