There was a four-car collision during rush hour on Tuesday, July 23 on the Garden State Parkway, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 8:20 a.m. southbound at milepost 131.4 in Woodbridge, according to New Jersey State Police. Two people were injured in a four-car crash involving multiple trucks on Route 80 in Warren County on Thursday, July 18, authorities said. At 10:47 a.m. on I-80 eastbound in Hardwick Township, a crash occurred between a tractor-trailer, two Ford pickup trucks and a Toyota sedan, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. Two drivers sustained minor injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital, Lebron said. The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.

A firefighter was injured battling a fire in a storage barn at Rutgers University in North Brunswick, authorities said. The fire broke out at about 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 11 at the Horticultural Farm property at Rutgers Gardens, according to a university spokeswoman.
