Grenade Explodes Injuring Woman In Mercer County
A 39-year-old woman was injured when a deactivated grenade exploded in Mercer County, authorities said. On Monday, June 10, at approximately 11:40 a.m., Hightstown police were dispatched to the Deerfield/Westerlea Arms Apartment complex rental office on Westerlea Avenue. The woman was suffering from severe stomach pain, police said. Robbinsville EMS arrived, performed an evaluation, and transported the woman to Capital Health-Fuld Campus for non-life-threatening injuries, police said. Three people were airlifted with life-threatening injuries in a wild crash at an old-school New Jersey ice cream shop this weekend, police said. A 65-year-old Mays Landing resident was behind the wheel of a Honda Pilot heading south in the right lane of Route 73, just before noon on Saturday, June 8, winslow police said. Man Critically Injured When Two SUVs Crash Head-On In South Jersey, Police Say
A Mercer County man was critically injured in a late-night crash in Manchester Township, authorities said. Manchester police responded to the head-on crash on Route 70 near milepost 34.5 at around 11:24 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5, the department said in a news release. Officers found a white 2014 Acura MDX facing west in the eastbound lane and a black 2007 Ford Escape facing west in the wood line of the eastbound shoulder. Motorcyclist Crashes In Burlington County
A motorcyclist escaped serious injury in a crash in Burlington County, authorities said. Troopers responded to the crash at 5:42 p.m. on Thursday, May 30 on Chairville Road in Southampton, according to New Jersey State Police. Based on a preliminary investigation a Harley Davidson motorcycle lost directional control and the rider sustained a non-life-threatening injury, State Police said. The crash remains under investigation and there is no additional information available.
