Woman, Two Dogs Rescued After Being Submerged In Water: Gloucester PD
A woman and her two dogs were rescued after they became trapped in partially frozen water in Camden County on Sunday, Jan. 5, authorities said. At 1:45 p.m., officers and firefighters responded to Timber Creek Dog Park at 1701 Chews Landing Rd. in Blackwood and found the woman and her two dogs stuck in the water, Gloucester Township police said. The fire ripped through an abandoned building on the 400 block of South Odessa Avenue on Tuesday, Dec. 31, the Galloway Township Police Department said in an update posted on Facebook at 3:20 p.m. No injuries were reported in the fire. A multimillion-dollar waterfront home was destroyed by a fire on Long Beach Island, according to reports. Officers responded to the scene at around 4:18 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 23, the Long Beach Township Police Department said in a news release. A Pennsylvania man was airlifted to a hospital after a crash involving an ambulance heading to an emergency in Cape May County, authorities said. Middle Township police responded to the crash on Route 9 North at around 12:40 p.m. on Saturday, July 6, the department said in a news release. Service to NJ Transit and Amtrak trains was disrupted for the second time this week on Thursday, June 20 due to both power issues and brush fires along the NJ Turnpike, officials said.
