Pleasantville Man Indicted For Murder Of Pregnant Girlfriend: Prosecutor A 26-year-old Pleasantville man was indicted on Wednesday, Feb. 19 for the murder of his girlfriend last year, authorities said. On Monday, Dec. 2, 2024, Pleasantville police responded to 132 Edgewater Ave. and found Leslianet Quintana-Betancourt, a 25-year-old Pleasantville resident, unresponsive, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said. Quintana-Betancourt was taken to Atlantic City Medical Center where she was pronounced dead, authorities said. A GoFundMe page was created for 25-year-old Leslianet Quintana-Betancourt. Investigators said the woman expecting a baby boy died from “multiple blunt force injuries” on Monday, Dec. 2. Quintana-Betancourt's family is now mourning the loss of both her and her unborn son, who would have been named Mateo, according to an obituary from Greenidge Funeral Homes.
