Nutley Wrestling Community Embraces High School Grappler After Dad Marc DellaVolpe's Death Nutley's wrestling community is mourning the loss of Marc DellaVolpe, who is being widely remembered as one of the most passionate, supportive, and knowledgeable parents on the sidelines. DellaVolpe, 47, of Nutley, died unexpectedly on Thursday, Oct. 17. "He was very supportive of his son, Louis, and traveled all over the place [for his matches]," said 10-year Nutley youth wrestling coach Michael Blanchard. Essex County Lieutenant Charged With Assault: Prosecutor David Fontoura, a lieutenant in the Essex Coutny Prosecutor's Office was charged with multiple accounts of assault related to domestic violence incidents, authorities said. Fontoura was charged with aggravated assault, weapons offenses, criminal restraint and making terroristic threats, the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office said, for incidents that occurred in Nutley between September 2019 and March 2020. At 5:15 a.m., burglars driving a four-door gray Hyundai attempted to enter a window into a residence at Conover Avenue, Nutley police said. The burglars were scared off by a barking dog, police said.
