Man Killed In Fatal Jersey Motorcycle Crash: Authorities A 43-year-old Jersey City resident was killed in a fatal crash in Jersey City on Thursday, Oct. 31, authorities said. At 8:55 a.m., the Jersey City Police Department responded to a motorcycle crash at Sip Avenue and Routes 1&9, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. Responding officers found the motorcycle and a GMC passenger vehicle collided near the intersection, Suarez said.  The injured motorcyclist, Steven Brown, was transported to Jersey City Medical Center he was soon pronounced dead, Suarez said. Union City Man Critical After Hit By Motorcycle That Fled Scene: Prosecutor A 54-year-old Union City man is in critical condition after he was struck a motorcycle in a hit and run crash in West New York on Saturday, Aug. 17, authorities said. At 3:40 p.m., West New York police responded to a report of a pedestrian struck by a motorcycle on Bergenline Avenue and 57th Street and found the victim with life-threatening injurie, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said.  The occupant of the motorcycle fled the scene on foot, Suarez said.  The victim was transported to a nearby hospital where he remains in critical condition, Suarez said.
