At 12:15 a.m., a Hudson-Bergen light rail vehicle was struck by the vehicle at Paterson Plank Road crossing near 2nd Street station in Hoboken, NJ Transit said. The operator of the light rail vehicle claimed back pain and was taken to a local hospital for evaluation, NJ Transit said.
