A 33-year-old Keansburg man was arrested and charged after he fled from police in Denville during a traffic stop, authorities said. At 10:57 p.m., on Tuesday, Aug. 18, officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on East Main Street after observing a moving violation, Denville police said. The driver, Christopher Cox, provided officers with a drivers license but refused to provide the required vehicle documentation, police said. A driver seen in a viral video apparently backing into a police vehicle at a Bergen County Wawa has been located, authorities said. The video shared by Jersey Talks on Instagram shows a small, black hatchback backing into the police vehicle at the Wawa on Essex Street in Lodi. A 42-year-old Brick man was arrested and charged with multiple drug offenses following a traffic stop in Lakewood, authorities announced.
