An Egg Harbor City man will spend nearly three years in prison after he was found with violent child pornography, authorities said.
Anthony Barbarino, 38, was sentenced on Thursday, Oct. 24 to 33 months for possession of child pornography, New Jersey's U.S. Attorney Philip Sellinger said in a news release.
According to court documents and statements, Barbarino had 93 pictures and 108 videos of child sexual abuse on three electronic devices between Tuesday, Apr. 12, 2022, and Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2022.

A Brick Township man admitted to recording children performing sexual acts for him in video chats, authorities said.
Christopher Budelman, 37, pleaded guilty on Friday, Oct. 4 to two counts of sexual assault, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said in a news release on Tuesday, Oct. 8. NJ Man Chatting With Undercover Agent Posing As Teen Found With Child Porn, Prosecutor Says
A 46-year-old man chatting with an undercover agent posing as a teen girl was found with child pornography during a search of his Jersey Shore home, authorities said.
Between May and August 2024, Christian Kohl, 46, of Brick Township, chatted with an undercover detective posing as a 14-year-old girl on the Kik messaging app, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said.
Kohl, who identified as a 38-year-old man, sent multiple photos and videos of himself to the "girl," despite knowing that "she" was only 14 years old, on multiple occasions, Billhimer's office said.
