Dad Killed In NJ Crash Was Driving Home From Work, Loved Ones Say Support is on the rise for a New Jersey family after their patriarch was killed in a crash after work. Alex Folnagy, 31, of Somerset, was the sole occupant of the 2010 Nissan Altima that crashed head-on with a 2018 Jeep Wrangler just before 7:25 a.m. on Amwell Road near South Middlebush Road in Franklin Township, Franklin Township police said. Folnagy was pronounced dead at the scene while the driver and passenger of the Wrangler sustained non-life-threatening injuries, police said. Man Shot In Downtown Newark: Police A man is recovering after being shot in downtown Newark on the afternoon of Thursday, Sept. 5, authorities said. At 4:40 p.m., police responded to the 700 block of Broad Street and found a man who had been shot, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said. Man Stabbed In Hoboken: Authorities A man was hospitalized after he was stabbed in Hoboken on the early morning of Sunday, Aug. 4, authorities said. At 12:30 a.m., police responded to the 400 block on Harrison Street on a report of a stabbing, a spokeswoman for the city said. One man was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries but was released, authorities said. Anyone with information is asked to call 201-420-2100 ext. 3127.
