The crash happened around 11:35 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14. A 17-year-old traveling southbound at a high rate of speed in the northbound shoulder of Bayshore Road struck a municipal trash truck turning right onto east Atlantic Avenue, the Cape May County Prosecutor's Office said. Teen Caught With Bag Full Of Mail Stolen From Jersey Shore Businesses, Police Say A Garfield teen was given more than 20 theft charges after he was found carrying stolen mail in Wall Township, authorities said. The 16-year-old boy was arrested near Industrial Road, the Wall Township Police Department said in a news release on Tuesday, Dec. 10.  The arrest came as officers have increased patrols in response to rising criminal activity, particularly mail theft, in parts of Wall. Two boys, a 17-year-old from Philadelphia and a 16-year-old from Ivyland, PA, turned themselves in to North Wildwood police, the department said in a news release on Thursday, June 27. Two Teens Caught Stealing From Several Stores In South Jersey Mall, Police Say Two Mays Landing teens were accused of breaking into an Atlantic County mall overnight and stealing from several stores, authorities said. Hamilton Township police responded to the Hamilton Mall at around 2:45 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12, the department said in a Facebook post. Officers found a 16-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl wearing ski masks and carrying large bags full of stolen items. The boy and girl ran away but they were caught by officers.
