A crash with serious injuries closed all lanes of Interstate 295 in Camden County, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 4 p.m. on Thursday, July 25 on the southbound ramp to Exit 26S in Bellmawr, according to NJDOT. Based on a preliminary investigation, a Honda was traveling southbound on I-295. In the area of milepost 27.3, the Honda ran off the roadway, impacted the concrete barrier, and overturned, New Jersey State Police said. West Nile, EEE Detected In Eight Mosquito Groups In South Jersey
Cape May County leaders are issuing a warning after eight mosquito groups tested positive for West Nile virus and eastern equine encephalitis. Seven mosquito collections tested positive for West Nile and EEE was detected in another during June and July, the Cape May County Department of Health said in a news release on Monday, July 22. A vehicle veered off the New Jersey Turnpike in Camden County, authorities said. The crash occurred at about noon on Tuesday, July 23 northbound North of Interchange 3 in Lawnside, according to the NJDOT. There were no serious injuries, according to New Jersey State Police.

An elderly man was found at an Atlantic County golf course overnight after he went missing for several hours in severe weather, authorities said. In a news release, Egg Harbor Township police said 85-year-old Mu Lee was reunited with his family at around 12:20 a.m. on Wednesday, July 17. Employees at Green Tree Golf Course reported him missing at around 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday, July 16. Green Tree workers told police they were worried Lee hadn't been seen for several hours. On Tuesday, July 9 at about 4 a.m., a burglary suspect was caught on surveillance video trying to break into vehicles in Camden County, authorities said. The first vehicle was locked but he then successfully broke into three unlocked vehicles, Gloucester Township police said on Thursday, July 11. Firefighters from multiple departments In Camden County battled a trucking company fire on Friday, July 5, authorities said. At approximately 3:30 p.m., Gloucester Township police observed heavy smoke at Marksmen Transport, 1900 Erial Road in Blackwood, they said. Officers located flames in the rear lot of the commercial business which were contained to several large box trailers and a truck, police said.
