Denny's To Close 150 Restaurants
Restaurant chain Denny's plans to shut down as many as 150 of its locations. The company said half of the underperforming outlets will close by the end of the calendar year and the others will go out of business in 2025. Specific restaurants slated for closure have not yet been announced. In announcing the move, Denny's said customers have been ordering from restaurants less often. Casual dining chain TGI Friday's has closed at least a dozen of its restaurants in the last few weeks. Jersey Shore Taco Restaurant Suddenly Closes Despite 'Record-Breaking Summer'
A taco restaurant in Margate said it's permanently closing in the middle of a "record-breaking summer" on the Jersey Shore. TacocaT said in a Facebook post that it has decided to shut down its South Essex Avenue restaurant after its final day on Sunday, July 7.
