Man, 52, Dies When Lexus Drives Off Atlantic City Expressway: Troopers A Bridgeton man was killed when his car drove off the Atlantic City Expressway and rolled over, authorities said. Rodney Sarao, 52, died in the crash on Thursday, Dec. 12, a state police spokesperson said. Troopers responded to the scene on the eastbound side of the expressway at around 7:55 a.m. The crash happened near milepost 1.4 in Atlantic City. Investigators said Sarao was driving east in a Lexus when the car veered off the right side of the highway, went down an embankment, and overturned. Sarao died from his injuries. Pedestrian, 58, Killed In South Jersey Hit-And-Run Crash: Police Police were looking for whoever killed a Turnersville man while walking on a Gloucester County road at night, authorities said. John DeMarco, 58, died in the hit-and-run crash on Monday, Nov. 4, the Washington Township Police Department said in a news release. Officers responded to the scene at around 8:09 p.m. Investigators said DeMarco was struck by an unknown vehicle while walking on the southbound side of Fries Mill Road near the intersection with Adele Drive. Driver, 83, Killed In 2-Car Crash In South Jersey: Police An 83-year-old woman was killed in a two-car crash in Burlington Township, authorities said Rose Zampino, of Burlington Township, was driving a Mitsubishi sedan north on Route 541 near Kelly Drive at about 8:15 a.m. Tuesday, June 18, when a southbound Volvo SUV struck her vehicle, Burlington Township police said.
