Pedestrian Killed, Vehicle Flees In Egg Harbor Township: Police A pedestrian was struck and killed in a hit-and-run crash on the Black Horse Pike Tuesday night, Feb. 18, Egg Harbor Township police said. Officers responded to the crash around 8 p.m. in front of the Economy Inn in the West Atlantic City section of the township, authorities said. The driver took off, and police are still working to identify both the pedestrian and the vehicle involved. The westbound lanes of the Black Horse Pike are shut down as the investigation continues. Central Jersey Man Stabbed VA Man During Fight Over Cellphone At Motel, Police Say An Eatontown man was accused of stabbing a Virginia man during a fight at a Wall Township motel, authorities said. Geraldo Voglino, 37, was arrested on Sunday, Sept. 8, the Wall Township Police Department said in a news release. Officers responded to the stabbing report at the Economy Inn on Route 35 at around 3:30 p.m. Police found the 50-year-old man from Hampton, VA, with multiple stab wounds to his stomach and back.
