19 Arrested During Targeted Crackdown On Drugs, Guns In Atlantic City: Police Nearly 20 people have been arrested in a major crackdown on drugs and illegal guns in Atlantic City, authorities said. The Atlantic City Police Department announced the 19 arrests in a news release on Wednesday, Nov. 27. A weeks-long operation targeted drug activity and "quality-of-life issues" in the neighborhoods surrounding Florida, Bellevue, and Texas avenues. Atlantic City Man With Stolen Gun From NC Arrested After Chase, Police Say An Atlantic City man was accused of having a stolen gun while running away from police officers, authorities said. Jackie Mullins, 40, was arrested on Wednesday, Aug. 14, the Atlantic City Police Department said in a news release. An officer received a report of a man with a gun on the 1100 block of Arctic Avenue at around 7:06 p.m. Officers saw Mullins riding his bicycle in the area and tried to talk with him. DUI Driver Crashed Stolen Car On Route 1: Police Authorities have identified the driver of a stolen car that crashed into a utility pole along Route 1 in Central Jersey. Jordan White, 35,  of Paterson, crashed on Friday,, June 28, South Brunswick police said. He was seriously injured, they said. White allegedly was under the influence of drugs, police said, and the 2007 Lincoln Town car he was driving was stolen.  He was charged with receiving stolen property, driving under the influence, and numerous motor vehicle violations, police said.
